The Cambodian Association of North Carolina (CANC) is dedicated to enhancing the economic well-being and self-sufficiency of the Cambodian-American community. Our Economic Empowerment initiative focuses on providing resources, education, and support to help individuals and families achieve financial stability, entrepreneurial success, and professional growth.
Financial Literacy
Workshops on budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
One-on-one financial counseling to provide personalized guidance and support.
Employment Services
Job search assistance, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement services.

Entrepreneurship Support
Business development programs to help aspiring entrepreneurs start and grow their own businesses.

Skill Development and Training

In January 2025, our first driver’s education pilot program graduated 12 students with 11 successfully passing their permit job and opening doors for their economic integration.
