Youth Leadership Programs

The Cambodian Association of North Carolina (CANC) is passionate about nurturing the next generation of leaders within our community. Our Youth Leadership Programs are designed to empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to become active, responsible, and effective leaders in their communities and beyond.

Program Objectives

Develop Leadership Skills: Equip youth with essential leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Foster Civic Engagement: Encourage active participation in civic and community activities, promoting a sense of responsibility and commitment to societal betterment.

Build Cultural Identity: Strengthen cultural identity and pride by connecting youth with their Cambodian heritage through various cultural and educational activities.

Leadership Training Workshops

Skill-Building Sessions: Workshops focus on developing key leadership skills, including public speaking, conflict resolution, project management, and effective communication.

Civic Engagement and Community Service
